Are they still handcrafted in Britain?
Yes. Every Essentials bed is made to order here in Britain, just like the rest of our collection.
What sizes are available?
All standard UK sizes, from single to super king available
- Single wingback bed – 90cm x 190cm (3ft)
- Small Double wingback bed – 120cm x 190cm (4ft)
- Double wingback bed – 135cm x 190cm (4ft6)
- King Size wingback bed – 150cm x 200cm (5ft)
- Super King wingback bed – 180cm x 200cm (6ft)
Can I see the fabrics before I order?
Absolutely — order free fabric samples and check the colour and feel at home before you commit.
What Fabric and Colour Options Are Available?
Our wingback and winged beds are available in a carefully selected range of premium upholstered fabrics:
- Velvet — luxuriously soft with a rich, deep finish in multiple colours
- Bouclé — textured, contemporary fabric with a warm, cosy feel
- Linen — classic, breathable fabric with a natural finish
- Naple — smooth, soft fabric with a clean, elegant appearance

How long will delivery take?
Yes. Many of our wingback and winged beds are available with optional ottoman storage — featuring a smooth hydraulic gas-lift mechanism that reveals generous under-bed storage beneath the mattress. This combines the dramatic styling of a winged bed headboard with the practicality of full under-bed storage — perfect for UK bedrooms where space is at a premium.
